Biographical Information
 
Paula received her undergraduate degree at Western Washington University, majoring in both psychology and biolgy. She received her masters in clinical psychology, child, couple and family therapy at Antioch University, Seattle, where she also received her training as an art therapist.

 

Paula has extensive experience working with children, adults and families impacted by disabilities and mild, moderate and severe mental illness. She has been honored in advocating for a better quality of life for individuals and families.

 

 

Paula has worked among many populations: Native Americans, Cuban Americans, African Americans, Latin Americans, and many immigrant populations.
 
She is an associate member of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy,  and NAMI. She is a Registered Counselor with WA State.
 
Paula has contributed to legislative change and programs benefiting individuals with dissabilities. She was instrumental in developing the first international charities conference held in Ukraine shortly after it received independence. As a result of the conference, Salvation Army, Goodwill Industries and Oxfam (England) created a presence for the Ukrainian and Russian people. She has touched many people with her healing abilities.
 
Paula is also an accomplished and published artist and poet. Her favorite medias are oils and ceramics.
 
As an Art Therapist, she uses the magical power of the image to heal and communicate.
